CLASS OF MEMBERS:
- Any individual who has attained the age of 50 and who is ordinarily resident in Southey and district may apply for a regular membership.
- Any individual of any age who is interested in promoting the activities of the corporation may apply for associate membership
- Any individual who has furthered the cause of the senior citizens may, with his consent, be elected as honorary member by a vote of members
MEMBERSHIP FEES
- The membership fees and the term of membership for each class of membership shall be by a vote of the membership
- Upon expiry of a term of membership for non-payment or fees, the membership shall remain in force for a further period of three months or until the membership has by notice been suspended or cancelled, whichever is the earlier.
DIRECTORS
- The number of directors shall be 10, consisting of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and 8 other members.
OFFICERS
- The president shall preside at all general meetings of the society and at all directors meetings and shall be ex officiate member of all committees.
- The vice-president shall preform the duties of the president in his absence or inability to act. The directors may appoint such other officers as may be required and shall assign duties to them.
MEETINGS
- Meeting of the members of the corporation shall be held at Southey within 90 days of the fiscal year end of the Corporation.
- The Fiscal year end shall be March 31 of each year.
- Ten members or ten percent of the members, whichever is the greater shall constitute a quorum for a notion of members.
